Electronic Signatures

If your Q-Pulse administrator has turned on the Electronic Signatures feature, whenever you perform certain tasks in Q-Pulse, you will be asked to enter your Q-Pulse username and password. This additional security feature ensures that the person performing the action is the same person that logged into Q-Pulse.

This can occur at the following points in Q-Pulse Web:

• Documents module - When approving, acknowledging or performing an action on a document.
• CA/PA module - When completing a CA/PA, CA/PA Stage or CA/PA Stage Action.
• Audit module - When closing an audit or accepting an audit report.
• Occurrences module - Not used in this module.
• XX - Incidents module - When completing an incident stage or stage action *.

- Please note that if you enter your username and password incorrectly too many times, you may be locked out of Q-Pulse. For more information, speak to your Q-Pulse administrator.

* - Please note that in Q-Pulse v6.1, it is possible to search for incidents and manage incidents stage actions in Q-Pulse Web, see Introduction to the Incidents Module (Web). This functionality will only be available if your organisation has requested it.
